They did a breakaway contest...the best were thompson, shannon, marty and purcell. People were cheering for them when they scored. They saluted everyone at center ice at the end. Kubina was the lone player to give on of his sticks to a fan. When the habs entered the ice...half of the fan were cheering and other half booing . Talked to Martin raymond, guy boucher's mom and one trainer reconized me from the time i went in the locker room the season of where the Melrose mullet started the year."
